Responsibilities
- Actively engage in developing a high-quality product from the requirement phase through delivery and maintenance.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance at every stage of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and closely monitor the entire process.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers, actively participating in tasks related to system design from a QA perspective.
- Plan and execute non-functional testing, including usability, performance (load, stress and volume), scalability, maintenance, and more.
- Write automation test scripts as needed, particularly to reduce the testing efforts.
- Lead the overall test planning for software projects by breaking down and categorizing tasks, then distributing them among junior/mid-level testers.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior/mid-level QA engineers.
What we expect
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computing, or equivalent is required.
- Minimum four years of experience in software QA and testing, with a robust understanding and participation in mobile application testing.
- Proficiency in both functional and non-functional testing with experience in the testing of enterprise-grade applications.
- Previous involvement in collaborating with large teams and mentoring junior/mid-level testers is essential.
- Automation testing skills in at least one technology or language (E.g: Selenium, Appium, Robot, Mocha).
- Completion of ISTQB-CTFL certification
- Demonstrated experience in comprehensive test planning, design, and execution, actively contributing to production releases.
- Strong communication skills (verbal/writing) in English and leadership skills.
