We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Security-Focused Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in cyber security and a strong interest in DevOps, infrastructure reliability, and secure system operations. The right candidate will play a key role in strengthening system security, improving platform stability, and supporting secure deployment and operational practices across environments. This position requires full on-site commitment during the first 6 months. After successful completion of this initial period, the role will transition to a hybrid working arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and improve the reliability, availability, and security of systems and infrastructure.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to support secure CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations across infrastructure, applications, and environments.
- Assist in implementing security best practices for servers, cloud environments, networks, and application deployments.
- Support incident detection, investigation, response, and recovery activities related to security and system reliability.
- Conduct security assessments, log analysis, vulnerability reviews, and basic threat monitoring activities.
- Help enforce access controls, secrets management, patch management, backup processes, and system hardening practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve observability, alerting, monitoring, and operational resilience.
- Document infrastructure, security procedures, incident findings, and technical recommendations clearly.
- Ensure adherence to company standards, operational procedures, and information security requirements.
What we expect
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.
- Experience in cyber security, system administration, infrastructure support, or a similar technical role.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity is a plus.
- Strong interest in DevOps, SRE practices, cloud operations, and secure infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with Linux systems, networking concepts, server management, and troubleshooting.
- Basic hands-on experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, or automation tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of cyber security concepts such as vulnerability management, access control, log monitoring, hardening, and incident response.
- Familiarity with tools and platforms related to DevOps, monitoring, and security operations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional technical teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to continuously learn and grow in both security and reliability engineering.
