We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Development Executive to join our growing team in Sri Lanka. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the company’s overall growth within the software engineering and IT services sectors. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for technology, and a strong sense of ownership in achieving results.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Sri Lanka and international markets through research, networking, and outreach strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Promote the company’s products, services, and solutions through tailored presentations, marketing materials, and digital channels.
  • Conduct meetings, product demonstrations, and discovery sessions-onsite or virtually-to understand customer requirements.
  • Prepare professional proposals, tender submissions, and responses to RFPs in coordination with technical, finance, and marketing teams.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads to ensure consistent revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Act as the communication bridge between clients and internal teams to align expectations and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with key business partners to strengthen collaboration and drive mutual success.
  • Execute strategic initiatives assigned by the Executive Team to support business development goals.

What we expect

  • Based in Sri Lanka, with the ability to attend client meetings and company operations as required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within a software engineering or IT services firm.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate business opportunities and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a professional and confident approach.
  • Proven expertise in contract negotiation, client account management, and vendor coordination.
  • Ability to generate new business through existing networks or new connections, both locally and internationally.
  • A friendly, go-getter attitude with a passion for technology and continuous learning.
  • Team-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to achieving excellence.
